Maybe the person who came up with "Think Global, Act Local" knew what he was talking about. The local online video market in the U.S. is projected to grow to $1.5 billion by 2012, according to a report by the Kelsey Group. 

The popularity of online video has allegedly seeped into SMB video advertising accompanying local listing and business profiles; think of it as juicing up your web Yellow Pages ad. Demand for more local video is expected to push Internet Yellow Pages to execute tighter sales and fulfillment and for publishers to embrace video as a way to offset declines in print reviews.
