Having come back down from the mountain--so to speak--I'm ready to open up the floodgates for submissions to the 2008 Fierce15 "Online Video Movers and Shakers."

Nominations will be accepted from now until Monday, Sept. 8.  Announcement of the Fierce15 will be done on or around Tuesday, Sept. 23,  Might do it on Monday; we're still debating the format here.

Since I make the rules, I reserve the right to either: A) change the rules; and/or, B) add new rules as I deem fit.

Qualifications

           Must be a privately-held company
Must have at least one shipping product
Must have revenues, and be willing to discuss revenues

Submission information

Privately-held companies being submitted for consideration to the 2008 Fierce 15 should provide the following information:

           Company name
           Years of operation

           Name(s) of-
                     CEO
                     CTO or chief developer
VP or other designed marketing representative

           Products currently shipping
Number of products that have been shipped
Financial results for last fiscal year, preferably for last reported quarter
           Significant customers
At least one or two customer references
Any other factors which should be considered
Contact name, email, and phone number of person submitting company for consideration

The most controversial thing I'm asking for is budget numbers. Some people get very funny about reported numbers on the one hand, only not to realize their venture people blab about them all the time when they're to trying broker deals.

If you so desire, you can send me numbers on background. If you really don't trust electronic means, send me an email and you can send me a paper copy that I promise to shred after this is over. Fair enough?  If you require a formal, signed NDA, I'm going to have to take a pass.

Any questions? Send me an email.

- Doug
