Online video watchers don't pirate content frequently

Tools

A new survey from Bernstein Research suggests that only 10 percent of online video viewers use P2P services frequently, and only a fraction of these viewers illegally download video content. The survey also found that 54 percent of respondents watch TV or movies online, but that most prefer to watch this programming on their TVs rather than their PCs. While the TV remains the central video viewing experience, the survey also found that 35 percent of respondents were considering cutting a cable subscription in favor of online options due to the increased selection of video programming offered online.
