Apple unveiled its latest iPhone, the iPhone 3G S, at its World Wide Developers Conference in San Francisco and announced the new model will have the ability to capture video, which was capable previously only through "jailbreaking" the devices.

The iPhone 3G S comes with a 3-megapixel autofocus camera, touch editing feature for captured videos, and video share via email, among other additions. The new phone will also support HTTP adaptive bit rate streaming, and the video capture feature is open for developers to integrate into next-generation applications.

The video capture and share ability for the iPhone could lead to a surge in traffic and video uploads for mobile video sites like Qik, uStream, and Kyte among others. It's also almost sure to add incrementally to the already staggering amount of un-monetizable user-generated video content on YouTube and other video aggregators.
