Mixpo adds partners for local online video ads
Online video advertising company Mixpo announced several key partnerships with local media companies Wednesday. Mixpo, based in Seattle, will provide its VideoAd online video advertising platform to NBC Local Media, Tribune, Freedom Communications, TownNews.com, and Fisher Communications.
The campaigns made with Mixpo will focus on local populations and local advertisers, attempting to take advantage of the strong local sales presence these companies have.
"Mixpo's new partnerships -- across the Newspaper, TV and Radio media segments -- represent the best locally focused media publishers in the industry," said Anupam Gupta, Mixpo president and CEO, in a statement. "We share the conviction that it is at the local market level that customers want to engage, and where advertisers want to be present."
The Mixpo technology will enable the media companies to integrate online video advertising on assets that were not previously being monetized, and the deployments will also lead to optimizing all existing online advertising, according to the company.
