Limelight revs slip sequentially, only adds 5 net customers in Q2
Limelight Networks cut its loss for the second straight quarter, posting a GAAP loss of $5.3 million and a non-GAAP loss of $0.7 million after posting a non-GAAP loss of $2.1 million in Q1. Revenues dipped 3 percent sequentially to $32.3 million though, and the company only gained five net customers over the past three months, ending the quarter with 1,370 active customers, compared to 1,365 at the end of Q1.
Cash on hand also slipped slightly to $145.2 million from $146.98 million at the end of Q1 2009, but the company said it has no bank debt.
Company CFO Doug Lindroth said the $7 million the company generated from operations helped soften the blow of coming in at the low end of the company's revenue expectations of $32.2 million to $33.2 million.
