But the question remains: “When it will become ubiquitous?” Fortune editor-at-large Adam Lashinsky opines it’s media conglomerates that are holding things up, worried their web offspring--like Hulu--will steal their thunder, their viewers, and that they'll be unable to replace the revenue they’ll inevitably bleed because of lost advertising.
