For the third year in a row, Sorenson Media’s Squeeze encoding software nabbed the Readers' Choice Award for encoding software under $1,000 from Streaming Media magazine. Squeeze enables users to encode video files for online, DVD or mobile delivery in a large selection of formats.

Sorenson also was recognized as a finalist in the OVP category for its Sorenson 360 Video Delivery Network, which it introduced in May. The company says its platform allows users to simply and affordably publish high-quality video content on the Internet.
