All those complaints from overseas viewers not able to get to "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" [1] must have had an impact.

Hulu will soon offer its service to international audiences previously denied access to the site, predicts Gigaom.com. It reported today that Hulu has posted an advertisement for an international business development position that almost certainly foreshadows the creation of an international Hulu presence.

It remains to be seen how Hulu will appease content owners wary of allowing their work to be broadcast internationally, but we suspect that multinational corporate advertisers will welcome the opportunity to selectively target non-U.S. broadband users that presumably have disposable income.

Added international traffic would help push Hulu to the silver medal platform of the video aggregation contest -- YouTube standing at the gold medal Michael Phelps/Usain Bolt position for today.
